Vince McMahon is reportedly involved in a trademark dispute with clothing and sneaker manufacturer Adidas, according to PWInsider.
Legal opposition to Vince McMahon’s trademark for Alpha Entertainment, which is the parent company of the XFL’s revival, was recently requested by Adidas and a number of its subsidiaries to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Adidas is claiming that Alpha Entertainment’s current logo infringes on the trademark to their own logo and are requesting additional time to file an official opposition to Vince’s trademark before a decision regarding its legal status is made. Adidas currently has until March 6, 2019 to file an opposition or request another extension with the USPTO.
