WWE announced that Buddy Murphy will be defending his Cruiserweight Championship in a fatal four-way match against three yet to be determined opponents at the Royal Rumble.
There will be three qualifying matches on 205 Live over the next two weeks, with the winners joining the match at the Royal Rumble on January 27.
– Kalisto vs. Lio Rush (next week)
– Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak (next week)
– Cedric Alexander vs. Hideo Itami (in two weeks)

Other than the two Royal Rumble matches themselves, the only other match announced for the Rumble so far is Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman for the Universal title.
