Nick Miller, one half of the NXT tag team The Mighty (formerly TM61), was released from WWE this week, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
His tag team partner Shane Thorne is still under contract as of now.
Pro Wrestling Sheet noted that Miller was looking to go back home to Australia for personal reasons, but it’s unclear if he requested the release himself. Update: Dave Meltzer added that he went home to Australia when his baby was born and decided to stay, and the door is not shut on him returning if he chooses to.
His last appearance was on this past Wednesday’s NXT episode, where The Mighty lost to Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan. That match was taped on November 28.
Miller and Thorne signed with WWE in early 2016.
