SmackDown: Paige Removed as GM, Mustafa Ali Added to SmackDown Roster

Paige Removed as General Manager

Paige was officially removed as GM on tonight’s SmackDown.

At the start of the show, Shane McMahon gave the SmackDown roster a pep talk about needing to put on the best product possible for the WWE fans, then turned his attention to Paige:

“I would like to thank our former general manager Paige. So without further ado, Paige, please come up here. Paige, on behalf of the entire SmackDown Live roster, the crew and the entire WWE Universe, I’d like to say thank you very much for your enormous contributions here. She’s not going anywhere, just the role has changed, so again Paige, thank you so very much.”

Her new role hasn’t been revealed yet.

Paige appeared “happy” in the segment for some reason, but posted this on Twitter earlier:

Mustafa Ali Officially Added to SmackDown Roster

Mustafa Ali has been officially added to the SmackDown Live roster. Corey Graves made the announcement while hyping up tonight’s SmackDown main event, Mustafa Ali & AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan & Andrade Cien Almas.

It wasn’t explained if this means that he’ll no longer be on 205 Live.
