Tuesday’s taped Christmas episode of SmackDown Live drew 1,904,000 viewers on USA Network, down from last week’s 2,214,000 viewers.
That’s the lowest number in SmackDown Live history, below the November 8, 2016 episode (1,921,000), which was the night of the US presidential election. But it isn’t nearly as big of a drop as Monday’s Raw saw (1,775,000) and SmackDown actually beat Raw by a sizable margin.
SmackDown was #5 on cable for the day in the 18-49 demographic, behind Christmas NBA games.
This time last year, the December 26, 2017 episode of SmackDown Live drew 2,656,000 viewers. The December 27, 2016 episode drew 2,885,000 viewers.
Monday’s Raw drew an average of 1,775,000 viewers, the lowest in Raw history.
