AEW has made a contract offer to Jungle Boy, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He hasn’t signed it yet, but will probably do so any day now, though with the way the wrestling industry is right now, he could end up getting other offers before signing.
Jungle Boy, real name Jack Perry, is the 5’10 150 pound 21 year old son of actor Luke Perry. He has been wrestling in the indies for the past couple of years and will be making his debut for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla at their show tonight, where he’ll be facing Brody King.
He has a very interesting look, which helps him pretty much immediately get over with crowds even if they have no idea who he is.
Dave Meltzer speculated that Cody Rhodes was the main person behind his offer, since Cody has worked a few shows with him in All Pro Wrestling in California.
