Chris Jericho was in talks with WWE to return to the company in recent weeks, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Of course, it was announced yesterday that he has signed with All Elite Wrestling, with Jericho saying that he’s in AEW “for the long haul.”
Seemingly within minutes, WWE.com had removed Chris Jericho from their current roster page and moved him to the “Alumni” section.
Jericho has also been removed from the “WWE Forever” video that airs before their shows. On last night’s SmackDown, he was already replaced by The Bar.
