Ronda Rousey Comments on Her Main WWE Career Goals

A recent episode of the Cold As Balls show had Ronda Rousey as the guest and one of the topics discussed included Rousey revealing her main WWE career goals do not include winning championships.

“The goal is not to be champion. Roddy Piper’s son told me that belts don’t matter and it’s about stories and storytelling. I really want the WWE and women’s division to be better off because I was there. I wanna be a catalyst and push everything forward and I want people to thank me for being there.”

WWE RAW and SmackDown Live Ratings Delayed Due to MLK Jr. Holiday

The ratings and viewership numbers for this week’s WWE RAW and SmackDown Live episodes have been delayed due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Flip Gordon’s Injury Status Update

As noted before, Flip Gordon suffered a knee injury during his match against Tracy Williams at last week’s ROH Honor Reigns Supreme 2019 event.

ROH recently issued an official update stating Gordon suffered a full MCL tear in his right knee based on the results from his MRI exam. It was also stated that the company is currently optimistic that Gordon will be able to return in time for their April 6th G1 Supercard event in New York City.

Official statement:

An MRI exam revealed that Ring of Honor star Flip Gordon suffered a full MCL tear in his right knee during a match at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, N.C., on Jan. 13.

The good news is that the timetable for Gordon’s recovery means he should be able to compete at Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s historic G1 Supercard show at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6.

The injury occurred when Gordon hit a running dropkick in the corner on his opponent, Tracy Williams. Gordon tried to continue the match, but his knee gave out and the referee called for the bell.
