In-Ring: Seth Rollins, Triple H, Dean Ambrose

The loud reaction continues as Rollins grabs a mic. A loud “BURN IT DOWN” chant starts up. He talks about everyone laying it all on the line in the Men’s Royal Rumble. Rollins said it was heart, determination, passion, love – whatever you want to call it. He is standing here in this ring saying Seth freakin’ Rollins is going to the main event of WrestleMania! The crowd in Phoenix starts up a “YOU DESERVE IT” chant.

Rollins promised himself if he won the Royal Rumble that he wasn’t going to do it…no matter what, he wasn’t going to do it. He smiles and says this is a once in a lifetime shot. Rollins smiles and points at the WrestleMania 35 sign. He said some kids grow up wanting to walk on the moon or play in the Super Bowl, but all he wanted to do is point to that sign and get his main event spot at WrestleMania. Now he has a choice to make.

Rollins says one path can take him over to Smackdown where he can challenge someone who has been a good friend of his for a long time – the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. The other path to WrestleMania takes him to Suplex City where he challenges Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Loud “TAKE HIS BELT” chant starts up aimed at Lesnar. Rollins said he has to take some time to make this big decision.

Rollins is interrupted by Triple H’s music hitting. Triple H walks down the ramp and embraces a kid sitting at ringside. He grabs a mic and a loud “NXT” chant starts up. Triple H is glad Rollins lived the dream and pointed at the sign. He talked about challenging Rollins just a few months ago to bring back the real Seth Rollins. Triple H says Rollins came out here and got emotional and made him emotional.

He talks about Rollins stepping up to the challenge and he’s proud of that. Triple H said the Royal Rumble was designed with challenge in mind. He said last night we found out who the “one” is and that is Seth freakin’ Rollins. Triple H talks about the big decision Seth has to make, much like how Becky Lynch has the same decision ahead of her. He reveals Becky will make her decision tomorrow night on Smackdown Live.

Triple H tells Rollins he needs to make his decision right here tonight. He says Rollins is aware how fast the machine moves. Triple H is giving Rollins until the end of the night. He says the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be here. Triple H wants Rollins to tell him who’s ass he is going to kick at WrestleMania. Rollins says it will be one of the hardest decisions he will make, but if it has to be made tonight…

And here comes Dean Ambrose to interrupt. Ambrose says this father-son thing is so cute, but actually makes him sick. He points out Triple H not believing in him when they drove around Florida making $500 a shot. Ambrose says Triple H wanted to get rid of him. Triple H points out Ambrose turning on Rollins the same night Roman Reigns announced his leukemia. Ambrose tells Triple H this conversation doesn’t concern him. Triple H says anything in this ring concerns him. Ambrose calls Rollins a suck up. “You are a pure kiss ass.” He hopes Rollins either beats Bryan or Lesnar at WrestleMania, but everyone knows Rollins can’t beat him without help. Ambrose suggests Triple H book a match between them here tonight. Triple H smiles and walks off. Ambrose cuts off Triple H and wonders if he has to ask permission from his father-in-law first. Triple H calls for a referee right now.


Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Rollins with a snapmare and kick to the chest combo as we come back from break. They brawl to the outside with Rollins throwing chops. Rollins jumps off the barricade to catch Rollins before the action spills back inside. Ambrose tosses Rollins down hard by his hair and throws right hands. Rollins levels Ambrose with a superkick. Ambrose avoids a Curb Stomp, eats a kick through the ropes, Rollins attempts a sunset flip, Ambrose hangs on, jumps down and tosses Rollins into the ring post. Ambrose gets an STF applied. Rollins breaks free and throws more chops. Ambrose with a right hand when Rollins attempts a suicide dive. Ambrose plants Rollins down face first, hooks the leg and Rollins kicks out.

Back live, Rollins connects with a cross body on Ambrose. Rollins with a Slingblade and Ambrose rolls out of the ring. This time Rollins connects with a suicide dive into the barricade. Back inside, Rollins clotheslines Ambrose over the top rope and connects with a second suicide dive. Ambrose gets a kick to the head back inside the ring and falls back out again. Rollins catches Ambrose with a third suicide dive to the outside. Rollins misses a frog splash attempt. Ambrose with a roll up for a close two count. Rollins with a big knee, buckle bomb and superkick to Ambrose. Rollins with the Curb Stomp for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins


In-Ring: Dean Ambrose, Nia Jax, Tamina

Back live, we see Dean Ambrose still inside the ring sitting on a steel chair with a mic in hand. He has something serious he needs to say and asks the crowd not to be jerks.

Nia Jax and Tamina walk out to interrupt. Nia gets in Dean’s face. Tamina starts to get close to Dean as well. Nia with a shot to the back of Dean sending him out of the ring. WWE officials show up at ringside and tell Dean to leave.

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James are out next for a qualifying match.


Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James

We start with Alexa Bliss and Tamina. Tamina shoves Bliss away quickly. Bliss gets Tamina down and connects with a standing moonsault early. Tag to Nia Jax who sends Bliss into the corner who takes out Mickie James in the process.

We return live as Tamina takes out Bliss with a superkick. Tamina has Bliss in a headlock on the mat. Bliss catches Tamina with an elbow and roll up from the corner for two. Tag to Jax who throws a headbutt to Bliss. Nia splashes Bliss in the corner and then presses her body against her head in the corner as well. Tag back to Tamina who throws a headbutt of her own on Bliss. Bliss with another corner roll up and Tamina kicks out. Tamina misses a cheap shot on Mickie. Bliss grabs the hair of Tamina, rolls away and tags in James. James gets in a kick to Tamina and comes off the top rope taking her out. James with a hurricanrana takedown on Tamina. James follows that up with a neckbreaker. James with a kick to the head of Tamina. Jax gets the tag. Jax tosses James away. Jax has James up on her shoulders. Bliss is heading up top. Jax puts Bliss on top of James on her shoulders. Jax with a double Samoan drop and covers James to get the pinfall.

Winners: Nia Jax & Tamina

Nia Jax and Tamina have now qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match in three weeks to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.


Baron Corbin vs. Kurt Angle

Backstage, Kurt Angle was asked about the last time he was in the ring back in November in a losing effort to Drew McIntyre. He is asked about repeating the same thing again tonight against Baron Corbin. Angle said it took time to get over that match.

Before the match, Corbin grabs a mic and says Angle is one of the greatest of all time. He said back in the day, Angle would break people’s ankles and won a gold medal with a broken neck. Corbin says he has one last great run in him and talks about how the fans don’t believe in him based on the “YOU SUCK” chant he receives. Corbin says he is going to humiliate Angle tonight.

Angle with a right hand and here we go. Angle with a release german suplex to Corbin. Corbin does his slide out/slide in clothesline combo catching Angle. Corbin with right hands to Angle. Corbin works over the left arm and head of Angle. Angle catches Corbin with a boot in the corner and moves when Corbin hits the corner post. Angle with a german suplex, a second german and third with a release for a two count. Corbin with a counter and levels Angle with a big boot. Angle Slam and Corbin kicks out. Ankle Lock applied. Corbin is trying to make the ropes. Corbin turns over and kicks Angle away. Corbin catches Angle with Deep Six, hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Baron Corbin

After the match, Corbin leaves the ring and mocks fans at ringside. Corbin jumps back inside the ring and gives Angle the End of Days.


In-Ring: Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Lio Rush

Finn Balor walks out on stage and heads to the ring to a solid reaction. Balor continues to show some wear and tear from his match last night at the Royal Rumble. He says last night for 10 minutes he went toe-to-toe with Brock Lesnar. “I make no excuses. Brock Lesnar beat me. And then Brock Lesnar beat me again.” Balor said he never felt speed or power like that before. He said he is hurt today, but he’s not standing out here with his head hung low. Balor is standing out here with his head held high. “Last night, Brock Lesnar beat me and then Brock Lesnar beat me again because I made Brock Lesnar believe.”

WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush interrupt. Rush says it is a disgrace that Balor even got an opportunity at the Universal Championship. He says Balor almost beat Lesnar, but he wouldn’t stand a chance in hell beating Bobby Lashley. Rush says Lashley is bigger and faster than Lesnar will ever be. He says the “ass whooping” Balor took last night would be nothing compared to what Lashley would do. Balor points out Lashley only lasting a few seconds in the Royal Rumble last night.

Lashley then attacks Balor and drives him hard into the ring. Lashley continues to lift up Balor and power him back down inside the ring with power. He teases that he is done, but turns out and picks up Balor driving him down into the mat again. Lashley and Rush head up the ramp to the back as we see Balor rolling around in pain.


The Revival vs. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

We get a reminder of the prior tag team success of Ryder and Hawkins in WWE. Ryder and Hawkins quickly clear the ring of Dawson and Wilder. Dawson gets the tag and drops Ryder with a suplex after a dropkick setup by Wilder. Dawson with repeated elbow drops and a quick headbutt drop. Ryder with a neckbreaker on Wilder when he gets the tag. Tag to Hawkins who throws right hands to Dawson who gets the tag. Hawkins with dropkicks to both members of Revival. Hawkins catches Dawson with a kick to the head. Dawson levels Hawkins with a clothesline and tosses Ryder off the corner. Hawkins with a small package for a close two count. Wilder gets the tag. Shatter Machine double team. Wilder hooks the leg of Hawkins and picks up the pinfall victory.

Backstage: Daniel Bryan, Erick Rowan

Backstage, we see WWE Champion Daniel Bryan walking with Erick Rowan. Bryan is asked if he has what it takes to beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania if he is chosen, bringing up his win last night with help from Rowan. Bryan calls that a stupid question and is insulted by the “Burn It Down” in Seth’s theme song celebrating air pollution.


In-Ring: Elias, Jeff Jarrett, Road Dogg

Elias is in the middle of the ring playing his guitar for Phoenix. He wants to know who wants to walk with Elias. A loud “OHHHHH, WALK WITH ELIAS” chant starts up. Elias finds that chant interesting because they let him down. He thinks by the time you hear that guitar starting up you should be on your feet cheering loudly. Phoenix continues to give Elias a big reaction as he is addressing them. He says being in the presence of Elias is being in the presence of greatness, but it appears to be too late. Phoenix starts a “WE’RE NOT WORTHY” chant. Elias says that is exactly right and says the songs he writes will only be for him going forward. Right now he needs everyone to silence the phones, hold the applause and shut their mouths.

Here comes Jeff Jarrett. “Listen up, slapnuts.” He wants to know why Elias thinks he can have a concert here tonight after what he did last night to him at the Royal Rumble. Jarrett says he has a problem with Elias and spells out his name.

Jarrett is interrupted by the “Road Dogg” Jesse James! Commentary mentions Road Dogg was The Roadie. He says if Elias doesn’t want to play songs for the audience, he suggests he plays with himself and does it on his own time. Road Dogg leads a loud “SUCK IT” chant as Jarrett smiles. The crowd starts a loud “HOLY SHIT” chant. Road Dogg tells them to be quiet because this is a PG show. They chant it even louder. Road Dogg apologizes for making it even worse. They decide to sing “With My Baby Tonight” and Elias isn’t pleased. They sing to the ring and walk around. Elias cracks his guitar over the back of Road Dogg. Jarrett gets int he ring with Elias. Jarrett with big right hands and then a final right hand that drops Elias. Jarrett picks up his guitar as Elias gets to his knees. Elias with a low blow to Jarrett and cracks the guitar over his back.


Backstage: Dana Brooke, Natalya

Backstage, Dana Brooke talks about replacing Ember Moon tonight to tag with Natalya. Natalya doesn’t seem pleased Dana is her tag team partner tonight and only wants to win. Dana says she’s not only better than Ember, but she’s better than Natalya.


Backstage: Mojo Rawley

Backstage, Mojo Rawley is cutting a promo staring in a mirror blaming himself for not making a name on Monday Night RAW. “Soon everyone will see who I really am.”


Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Natalya & Dana Brooke vs. Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan

Dana Brooke with a nasty looking clothesline that sends Liv Morgan into the ring apron production grid. Sarah Logan gets the tag and sends Dana face first into the corner. Logan lifts up Dana, tags in Liv and Liv jumps in dropping Dana down face first. Natalya breaks up the pinfall attempt. Liv kicks the head of Dana. Tag to Natalya who levels Liv with a clothesline and knocks Logan off the corner. Natalya tosses Liv away. Distraction allows Liv to roll up Natalya. Natalya counters into a Sharpshooter. Dana with a right hand sending Ruby Riott flying off the apron. Logan pushes Dana into Natalya to break up the submission. Natalya is rolled up by Liv to get the pinfall.

Winners: Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan

Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan have now qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match in three weeks to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.


In-Ring: Ronda Rousey, Bayley

RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey heads to the ring. When the music cuts, you can hear a very mixed reaction for Rousey and loud “BECKY” chants start up. Rousey talks about stepping into this ring last year for the first ever all women’s Royal Rumble. She dreamed big and now a year later she is RAW Women’s Champion. Loud booing from the Phoenix crowd tonight. Rousey addresses Sasha Banks saying she gave her the first of her life. Loud “BECKY” chant starts up again.

Rousey has to give up and just accept the booing. She wants to talk about what is next. Rousey points at the WrestleMania sign and knows Becky Lynch is watching. Another very loud “BECKY” chant starts up. Rousey is staying quiet and tossing the mic around.

Bayley’s music hits to interrupt Rousey. She might not be Becky Lynch, but she is out here ready for a fight and it appears Rousey is ready for a fight as well.

Rousey holds up her championship and accepts.

RAW Women’s Championship
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Bayley

Rousey immediately takes down Bayley and tries to go for the armbar right away. Bayley fights to the bottom rope to break free. Bayley goes after the right arm of Rousey and tosses her out of the ring. Bayley pulls Rousey to the ring apron and tries a neckbreaker over the second rope. Rousey applies an armbar against the ropes. Bayley with a cutter through the middle rope on Rousey. Bayley chop blocks the ankle/knee of Rousey. Bayley connects with a Dragon Screw to Rousey against the ropes heading to a break.

Back live, Bayley is throwing elbows at Rousey. Rousey with a charging tackle to Bayley. Rousey with a toss to Bayley, but is unable to pull off another favoring her arm. Rousey throws a big boot at Bayley, but Bayley catches Rousey’s leg and goes for a kneebar! Rousey finds a way to counter. Both roll out of the ring to the floor. Bayley grabs Rousey and connects with a belly-to-belly suplex against the ring barricade.

We return live as Bayley gets Rousey down in the Bank Statement! Rousey is doing all she can to move to the ropes. Rousey gets close and breaks the hold touching the bottom rope. Bayley is frustrated. Commentary talks about how Bayley may not be as experienced with that submission. Bayley props Rousey up on the top turnbuckle. Rousey drops below Bayley, throws lefts and rights, Bayley with a shot that knocks Rousey down, Rousey jumps up, drags Bayley down and gets the armbar locked in. Bayley taps.

Winner and still RAW Women’s Champion: Ronda Rousey

After the match, Ronda Rousey walks over to Bayley who is sitting down in the corner. Bayley shakes her hand.

In-Ring: Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch

Here comes Becky Lynch. Lynch has a knee brace on selling her “injury” during the Women’s Royal Rumble match last night.

Becky grabs a mic and talks about The Man being back on RAW. She brings up how she dropped Rousey right here in this ring the last time she was here and is surprised “Ronnie” never came looking for a fight with her after all was said and done. Becky talks about winning the Royal Rumble and, unlike Seth Rollins, she doesn’t need much time to think. “I choose you.” Huge reaction and “YES!” chant from Phoenix to the announcement.

Becky says he will break Ronda’s mystique at WrestleMania and will “kick her ass in front of the whole world.” Ronda wants a mic. More booing for Ronda. Ronda wants the whole world to hear this. “First off, how’s your leg?” Ronda wants her opponent prime to fight. Phoenix is literally booing Ronda out of the building right now as she cuts her promo. Ronda threatens to break Becky’s face again and knows she can destroy her with her bare hands. She talks about stealing the show at WrestleMania last year while Becky was on the Kickoff Show. Ronda says she will own Becky at WrestleMania and throws the mic down.


Backstage: Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins

Backstage, Braun Strowman congratulates Seth Rollins. He tells Rollins to make the right choice and get the job done at WrestleMania.


Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre

The bell rings, lock up and Strowman pushes McIntyre away immediately. McIntyre attempts a shoulder tackle and Strowman stays on his feet. McIntyre catches Strowman with boots and chops. Strowman quickly takes McIntyre off his feet and kicks him in the ribs sending Drew to the outside. Strowman jumps out of the ring, runs at McIntyre and McIntyre sends Strowman into the ring barricade as we head to a break.

Back live, Strowman catches McIntyre with a big slap. Strowman with his chop to the chest of McIntyre and then clotheslines Drew over the top rope. Strowman grabs a piece of the steel steps and starts walking towards McIntyre. Baron Corbin shows up and attacks Strowman. Corbin with a steel chair and hits Strowman with it in the ribs and over the back. The referee immediately calls for the bell at ringside.

Winner via DQ: Braun Strowman

After the match, Strowman punches the steel chair out of the hands of Corbin and sends Corbin flying into the steel steps at ringside! Phoenix starts a loud “GET THESE HANDS” chant. Strowman runs around the ringside area and launches McIntyre at the barricade. Strowman runs again and this time takes out Corbin at ringside. McIntyre is able to make it back to his feet and level Strowman with a Claymore Kick at ringside.

Corbin and McIntyre appear to be leaving, but come back to the ringside area and grab Strowman. Corbin and McIntyre give Strowman a double chokeslam over the steel steps. A WWE official is trying to break it up and clear the area.


Next Week

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross to determine the final team from RAW to head inside the Women’s Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match will take place next Monday night.


In-Ring: Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins

Heyman has a mic and does his usual introduction for the undisputed Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. He finds the premise of this entire program tonight to be absurd because this should be Seth Rollins’ easiest decision of his entire life. Heyman says Rollins only has one option for WrestleMania: to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. He adds that while Rollins and Bryan could be on a sports entertainment “clinic”, no one really wants to face Lesnar and get in a fight with Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins interrupts and walks fast to the ring. Rollins immediately gets in the face of Lesnar. Lesnar is smiling. Rollins immediately attacks Lesnar with repeated shots. Rollins appears to have Lesnar down and ready for a Curb Stomp when Lesnar connects with an F5 out of no where! Two WWE officials try to get inside and Lesnar chases them off. Lesnar picks up Rollins and connects with a second F5. Lesnar with a third F5 on Rollins. Lesnar with a fourth F5 on a lifeless Rollins. Lesnar doesn’t appear to be done.

Lesnar tosses the Universal Championship down on the mat and picks up Rollins connecting with a fifth F5 over the championship. Lesnar holds up the Universal Championship. Rollins is sitting up against the ropes and yells, “Hey Lesnar! Is that all you got?” Rollins is fighting to his feet using the ropes. Lesnar charges in and attacks Rollins. Lesnar picks up Rollins and connects with another F5 as RAW goes off the air.
