Noam Dar suffered what may be a serious knee injury during the NXT UK tapings on Sunday night in Coventry, England.
During a match against Mark Andrews, Dar was injured while attempting a reverse hurricanrana, according to Dei Owen, who was in attendance. The referee checked on Dar, then threw up the X sign with his arms, indicating a legit injury. The match was stopped, the medical team came out and Dar was eventually taken out on a stretcher.
Mark Andrews was also stretchered out and may have suffered a concussion, according to Dave Meltzer, but the belief is that it wasn’t too serious.
Dar will be examined when he returns to the US, according to Meltzer.
He had just announced the night before that he was moving from 205 Live to the NXT UK brand full time.
Dar suffered a torn meniscus in his knee in November 2017 and was out until the summer of 2018.
