On tonight’s episode of NXT, Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano via the Purple Rainmaker to win the NXT North American Championship.
At the NXT tapings last month, WWE actually taped two finishes to apparently leave the match result ambiguous. One had Dream winning and another had Gargano returning to the ring to “retape” the end of the match, but this time with Gargano winning.
The match finally aired tonight and Dream did in fact win the title.

Believing you are absolutely everything you say you are is necessary if you want to be a champion.
…backing it up is what ACTUALLY makes you one.
