WWE Studios has begun developing feature length movies for Netflix, with the first movie scheduled to begin shooting this summer, according to PWInsider.
The first movie will be called “The Main Event” and will be a “family movie.” According to PWInsider, “The Main Event tells the story of a ten-year old boy who is bullied but dreams of growing up to become a WWE professional wrestler. However, he gets to live his dream earlier when he discovers the secret to having super-strength in his breakfast cereal, becoming ‘The Spaghetti Kid.”
The current screenplay has a cameo role for John Cena written into it and small roles for The Miz and Bray Wyatt and there are a number of other WWE references.
