Jim Ross was interviewed on ESPN’s Outside the Lines today and was directly asked, “Are you going to AEW?”
He said, “I don’t know. We’re talking. I just haven’t signed anything yet. My people and their people are doing their thing. They’re working on it.”

Jim Ross’s WWE contract expires on March 29 and Ross previously said on his podcasts, “After talking with Vince McMahon, we have mutually agreed that I need to move on. I will not be returning to WWE after the 29th of March.”
Ross also said on his podcast, “I still want to play the game. I still want to stay busy. I’m 67, I still feel I can get the job done doing wrestling play-by-play and I want to explore that opportunity and possibility.”
