Despite being placed on Raw last week in the Superstar Shake-up, Andrade, Zelina Vega and Aleister Black are reportedly going to be moving back to SmackDown, according to both Pro Wrestling Sheet and PWInsider.
According to PWInsider, the move was at least partly made at the request of FOX, who wanted more Latino/Latina stars on SmackDown when it moves to the network in October. FOX is reportedly planning to spotlight Latino stars on their Spanish language sports channel, FOX Deportes.
On WWE.com’s roster page, Andrade and Aleister Black are now listed as part of the SmackDown roster, but Zelina Vega is still on Raw.
Aleister Black was likely moved because he’s married to Zelina Vega and WWE has kept all married couples on the same brand. This probably means the end of the Aleister Black and Ricochet tag team, unless WWE ends up deciding to also move Ricochet to SmackDown.
Andrade is also dating Charlotte Flair, who is on the SmackDown roster, and moving him back to SmackDown would allow them to be back together on the road.
Update: Cesaro will also reportedly be switching brands and will be moving to Raw.
