Sasha Banks Update: Sasha & Bayley “Tantrum” Rumor, Sasha Follows AEW, More

As mentioned before, Sasha Banks reportedly requested her release from WWE upon learning that she and Bayley would have to drop the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania. Banks and Bayley reportedly felt that they would be given a long title reign to give the titles legitimacy and felt blindsided by having to drop them so soon.

There’s a rumor going around, reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that “Sasha Banks and Bayley were laying on the floor of the locker room on Sunday, and back at the hotel in front of one of their rooms, loudly making it known they were unhappy about losing the tag titles.”

Satin said that four separate sources gave him the info, but lots of people are still skeptical, with some speculating that the story could have been leaked by people in WWE to try to make Sasha (and Bayley) look bad now that Sasha wants out.

Heard from a few sources now saying Sasha Banks and Bayley were laying on the floor of the locker room on Sunday, and back at the hotel in front of one of their rooms, loudly making it known they were unhappy about losing the tag titles.

Sasha Banks recently followed a few AEW-related accounts on Twitter, including the official AEW account, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega. She’s also not following @WWE on Twitter, but it’s not clear if she unfollowed it or just wasn’t following it in the first place.
