WWE is not expected to grant Luke Harper’s release request, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Harper requested his release then announced it publicly last week.
His deal was set to expire in November, but WWE has now added six additional months to his contract, using their option to freeze the contract due to time off from his wrist surgery last year. So as of now, he is stuck in WWE until just before next year’s WrestleMania, and WWE could technically add even more time if he sits out.
