Chris Jericho Returning to NJPW to Challenge Okada for IWGP Heavyweight Title

Chris Jericho will be returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling on June 9 at NJPW Dominion to take on Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

At today’s NJPW Dontaku show, Jericho appeared in a video after Okada’s win over Sanada and challeneged Okada to a title match at Dominion.

Jericho last appeared in NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 13 on January 4 where he lost the IWGP Intercontinental Championship to Tetusa Naito.

Jericho’s AEW contract allows him to work in NJPW.
