Daniel Bryan has been cleared from his unknown injury and should be back on TV imminently, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Bryan was backstage at SmackDown this past Tuesday and is now available if WWE wants to use him, though they may wait until after the Money in the Bank PPV on May 19. But Meltzer speculated that given the ratings, he wouldn’t be surprised to see WWE bring back Bryan before the PPV and turn the WWE title match into a three way.
On WWE’s upcoming European tour from May 8-May 17, the SmackDown house show main events are tentatively scheduled to be three ways between Kofi Kingston, Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan.
Bryan had been out of action with an injury since his match at WrestleMania, and WWE was keeping the nature of the injury closely under wraps.
