Lars Sullivan’s knee injury appears to be much worse than anticipated.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the word is that WWE believes that he will be out for six to nine months.
Sullivan underwent an MRI this week, but other than that, there aren’t many details available for now.
It’s believed that he suffered the injury at some point during the June 10 Raw, where he wrestled Lucha House Party. He didn’t appear to show any signs of injury during that segment. Initial word was that the injury wasn’t anything serious and he was booked for a match against Matt Hardy the next night on SmackDown, but it now looks like he could be out for a while…
