Gable vs. Gallagher
A Chad Gable vs. Jack Gallagher match on 205 Live this past Tuesday ended with Gallagher getting counted out. Gallagher tried to jump back into the ring at the last second, but couldn’t get all the way back in and fell back down to the floor, then jumped in again, but the referee had counted to 10, so he called it as a shoot and counted him out.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this was not supposed to be the finish of the match.
Both Gable and Gallagher looked upset and tried talking to the referee, but the match was already called.
Highlights of the match (which was very good until the finish) are in the video below, but the finish is not.
Lars Sullivan vs. Matt Hardy
There was a Lars Sullivan vs. Matt Hardy match originally scheduled for this week’s SmackDown, which Lars would have won, but it was pulled because of a minor injury that Lars suffered on Raw, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The injury is said to not be serious and he should be back in a few days.
