Finn Balor recently requested two months off from WWE and his request was granted, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
The time off is expected to begin some time in August, which could mean that it’ll start after SummerSlam, which takes place on August 11.
One source told Pro Wrestling Sheet that Balor was looking to “recharge.”
Balor lost the Intercontinental Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Extreme Rules last night.
After his loss, he tweeted “Bye bye 👋” but if he’s going to be around for the next month, he might have just been referring to the IC title.
