AEW announced a new match for Fight for the Fallen. Originally, it was announced for the pre-show, but will now be taking place on the main card.
As first announced on today’s episode of Road to Fight for the Fallen, it’ll be a six man tag team match:
Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc & Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara & Shawn Spears
Putting MJF and Spears on the same team seems strange considering MJF hates spears in AEW’s storylines and he came out to help Cody Rhodes when Spears attacked Cody at Fyter Fest. But I have more faith in the logic of AEW’s booking than WWE’s right now, so it feels safe to say that there will probably be a reason for them being booked on the same team.
Fight for the Fallen will take place on Saturday, July 13, starting with The Buy In pre-show at 7:30 PM ET.
Here’s the updated card:
Kenny Omega vs. Cima

The Young Bucks vs. Cody & Dustin Rhodes

Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc & Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara & Shawn Spears

Hangman Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian

Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie

Chris Jericho Will Appear
