Vince McMahon called in the WWE creative team to essentially totally re-write tonight’s SmackDown today, according to both Dave Meltzer and Ryan Satin.
This is the second week in a row that the show has been basically totally re-written on the day it’s set to air. Last week’s SmackDown was reportedly re-written after Vince McMahon showed up at 4 PM ET on the day of the show and decided that he didn’t like it and wanted it re-done.
Announced for tonight’s SmackDown:
– Six Man Tag Team Match: The New Day (Kofi, Big E, Xavier) vs. The O.C. (AJ Styles, Anderson & Gallows)
– Finn Balor vs. Dolph Ziggler
– The King’s Court, hosted by Jerry Lawler with guest Trish Stratus
Update
It looks like the six man match has been scrapped and changed to a singles match between Kofi Kingston and AJ Styles…
