WWE: Why Maria & Mike Missed 205 Live, WWE Network Updates, Stone Cold’s Beer

Maria and Mike Kanellis

Maria and Mike Kanellis missed 205 Live this week because Maria was sick and ended up in an emergency room.

Mike was advertised for a contract signing segment with Drake Maverick for their match next week on 205 Live. Instead, Maverick cut a promo backstage.

This is where I spent my day yesterday. Baby number 2 is giving me a run for my money. I had acute vomiting, a headache, and I was dehydrated. I threw up from 6am-3pm nonstop. I have never missed a day at WWE that wasn’t planned for in advance. But yesterday I was forced to stay away. It was a wild day! I received fluids, nausea meds, and Tylenol. They think I had a flu bug but I am feeling much better today. The nurses and doctors were fantastic and very caring. This pregnancy is definitely different from the first time. Baby 2 is doing good and that is what matters most. I am blessed to be pregnant and to have a beautiful 15 month old. Plus, women get pregnant all the time, work jobs, have other children, keep house, go to school, travel, have a second job, no paid maternity leave, are single, adopt, and so many other things. So, I keep things in perspective even when I have a tough day or 6 weeks…. I am still incredibly BLESSED!!! #secondpregnancy #12weekspregnant #seeyounextweek

WWE Network Updates

The new WWE Network interface is gradually rolling out this week and should now be available on most devices.

The new desktop version can be seen at watch.wwe.com.

The iOS, Android, Apple TV and PS4 apps have also been updated.

In great news, content is now finally streaming in 1080 resolution instead of 720, and they’re not using Flash video anymore.

Stone Cold’s Beer

Broken Skull IPA, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s beer, gained a lot of attention after Austin was drinking it during Raw Reunion.

It’s currently only available in southern California and Portland, OR, but they have plans to “reach the masses.”

El Segundo Brewing, which makes the beer, posted this on Facebook:

We’ve received hundreds, if not thousands, of inquires as to where you can find Broken Skull IPA. Currently, Broken Skull is only available in Southern CA, and sometimes Portland, OR, roughly in the vicinity of the Broken Skulls on the map. The good news is we are working on distribution plans to reach the masses. If you are a prospective distributor, please send us an email at rob@elsegundobrewing.com
