The Undertaker recently signed a new WWE contract that is reportedly so long that “for all intents and purposes” it’s a lifetime deal (though not actually), according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
It wasn’t specified exactly how many years are on the contract.
Undertaker signed the new deal some time this spring. It’s believed that it was signed some time after he was announced for the Starrcast wrestling convention, which took place on May 25 in Las Vegas, on the same day and location as AEW Double or Nothing.
Vince McMahon was said to be very unhappy that The Undertaker was going to be at the AEW-adjacent convention and apparently signed him to a new deal that had a clause that allowed WWE to prevent him from working any events that WWE deemed were “not in the company’s best interests.” WWE then pulled him from the convention in April.
