WWE: Jerry Lawler on Raw Just Temporarily? Mickie James on Main Event Commentary

WWE announced yesterday that Jerry Lawler will be the new color commentator on Raw, alongside Vic Joseph and Dio Maddin.

But Lawler’s role may be temporary, according to both the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Pro Wrestling Sheet, who say they were told by WWE sources that Lawler will only be used for a while and other people are being looked at for the spot on a full-time basis.

Mickie James was on commentary for this week’s episode of Main Event, along with Vic Joseph and Dio Maddin.

James underwent surgery for a torn ACL in July and is expected to be out for several months, if she does return to the ring.
