AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament – Quarterfinal Match
SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. The Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent)


While SCU is making their way to the ring, the Lucha Bros attack them from behind. Fenix sends Frankie Kazarian into the ring post. Pentagon gives Christopher Daniels a package piledriver on the ramp! Fenix goes to give Kazarian a piledriver, but Scorpio Sky runs down to make the save.

Doctors and referees check on Daniels, who has not moved yet. Scorpio Sky talks to the referee and convinces him to let him take Daniels’ place.

Frankie Kazarian will start out against Chuck Taylor. Taylor sends Kazarian hard into the corner, and Kazarian collapses due to his injured back. Trent tags in and gives Kazarian a cutter. Trent follows up with a stump piledriver, but Sky breaks it up. Trent takes Sky down. Sky is not dressed to compete. Taylor bites the feet of Sky after removing his shoe. Outside the ring, Trent goes back and forth driving Kazarian into the barricade and ring apron. Taylor hits a stomp to the back of Sky off the apron before hitting Kazarian. Taylor then sends Kazarian into a spear from Trent on the floor!

Trent has Kazarian in the ring and chops the chest. Trent puts Kazarian on the top rope, but Kazarian fights him off. Taylor then gets Trent on his shoulders, and they hit an electric chair superplex on Kazarian for a near fall! A “This is awesome” chant picks up. Trent drives Kazarian into the corner and talks trash to Sky. Trent splashes and chops the chest of Kazarian. Kazarian fights them off and tags Sky in.

Sky clotheslines both men down before dropkicking Trent. Taylor reverses a whip into the ropes, but Sky leaps up and double stomps him. Sky goes for a plancha on Trent, but Taylor punches him in the face. Taylor hits the ropes for a somersault senton, but Trent is pulled in the way. Kazarian hits Taylor with a plancha into a hurricanrana on the floor. An “SCU” chant picks up. Sky then hits the Best Friends with a somersault senton. Sky sticks the landing and gets in the ring before throwing his other shoe away. The crowd loves it and throws the shoe back.

SCU hits Trent with a flapjack into a DDT for a near fall. Sky turns Trent inside out with a whip into the corner before clotheslining him down. Kazarian tags in and gives him a scoop slam before dropping a leg for a two count. Taylor blind tags in. Taylor hits Sole Food before Trent hits a German Suplex. Sky runs in and breaks up a hug with the Best Friends. The crowd boos this. Trent reverses a whip to send Sky into a boot. Taylor then hits a Sexy Chucky Knee. The Best Friends then hug. The Best Friends hit a Doomsday Device on Kazarian for a near fall. Trent goes to piledrive Kazarian on the apron, but Sky breaks it up. Sky then sends Taylor into the barricade. Kazarian gives Trent a back body drop on the apron and puts him in the ring. Sky tags in, and they mistime a powerbomb/dropkick combo to pick up the win.

Winners by Pinfall: SCU

SCU will take on The Dark Order in a Semifinal Match in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament. The Dark Order won a bye to the semifinals at AEW All Out.


Santana & Ortiz vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds

John Silver will start against Santana. Santana kicks Silver down and taunts the crowd. Santana sends Silver to the corner and elbows him. Ortiz tags in and hits Silver with a sit-out powerbomb. Santana knees Silver in the face and hits the other guy with a baseball slide. Ortiz gets the crowd going and stomps Silver. Ortiz bites the top rope and scratches Silver’s back. Santana goes to the top rope, and they hit the Street Sweeper for the win.

Backstage: Chris Jericho

AEW World Champion Chris Jericho is shown backstage. Jericho puts over Santana and Ortiz as angrier than ever. They want to beat to beat the crap out of Nick and Matt Jackson. Jericho challenges the Young Bucks to face Santana and Ortiz of The Inner Circle at AEW Full Gear on November 9.

AEW Women’s World Championship
Riho (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

They lock up, and Baker backs Riho into the ropes before giving a clean break. They circle the ring again, and Baker takes her down. Riho gets up and charges, but Baker takes her down again. They lock up, and Baker goes for a takedown, but Riho does a cartwheel. They tussle around and do some sloppy technical wrestling before Riho gets to the ropes. Riho charges, but Baker takes her down for Lockjaw. Riho quickly gets to the ropes to get out of it. Riho is on the apron and punches Baker back, but Baker takes her down. Riho goes to the top rope, but Baker cuts her off. Riho knocks her back and hits a cross-body block. Baker rolls through and covers, but Riho does a matrix-style lift to get out. Riho then dropkicks her down.

Baker blocks a suplex and forearms her back. Riho grabs a waistlock, but Baker elbows her. Riho quickly takes her down and double stomps her. Riho hits a running knee in the corner and connects with a suplex. Riho head to the top rope for a double stomp, but Baker moves. Baker then takes her down with a Sling Blade. Baker lifts her, but Riho slides off and forearms her. Baker quickly comes back with a TKO followed by a low dropkick for a near fall. Riho comes back with a roll-up for a two count. Baker quickly floors her with a swinging fisherman’s neckbreaker followed by a kick to the face for a near fall!

Riho slaps her in the face a few times before hitting a northern lights suplex for a near fall. Riho quickly transitions into a single leg crab. Baker screams in pain, but gets to the bottom rope. Riho immediately goes to the top rope and hits a diving double stomp… but Baker kicks out! Riho quickly connects with a double knee strike for another near fall. Baker ducks a second attempt at knee strikes and hits a forearm shiver. Baker hits a fireman’s carry slam and goes for Lockjaw, but Riho turns her over into a pin for the win!

Winner and still AEW Women’s World Champion: Riho

Riho and Baker shake hands after the conclusion of the match. Riho poses with the title and goes to the back.

AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament – Quarterfinal Match
Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt) vs. The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix)

Private Party is shown at ringside to scout out their opponents next week.

Luchasaurus suffered a non-contact thigh injury and is being evaluated at a hospital. The commentators say it is a serious injury. This match starts next.

Marko Stunt will start against Pentagon Jr. Pentagon taunts and shoves him. Stunt shoves him back and does a dance. Pentagon then throws his glove at Jungle Boy. Stunt bites Pentagon’s hand. Jungle Boy runs in and throws Stunt into Pentagon. Stunt gives him a hurricanrana. Stunt hits Fenix with a DDT, and Jungle Boy DDTs Pentagon. Stunt hits Fenix with a suicide dive. Jungle Boy then hits Pentagon with an Asai Moonsault. Jungle Boy gets Pentagon in the ring in the ring and slams Stunt onto him for a two count. Stunt kicks and punches Pentagon before tagging Jungle Boy in. Stunt hits Pentagon with a 619, and Jungle Boy gives Pentagon a German Suplex for a two count. Stunt tags in, and Pentagon superkicks him. Pentagon then superkicks Jungle Boy. Fenix tags in, and Jungle Boy knees him in the face. Fenix quickly puts Stunt on the top rope and wipes out the Jurassic Express with a kick and an arm drag. Fenix then hits a springboard corkscrew plancha to the floor on Jungle Boy. Pentagon grabs Stunt and hits a pumphandle driver for a near fall! Pentagon argues with referee Aubrey Edwards. Fenix sends Jungle Boy into the steps. Pentagon kicks Stunt in the leg and yells at Aubrey Edwards again.

We come back from the break to see Pentagon kicking away at Stunt. Stunt fights out and knees Pentagon in the face. Jungle Boy and Fenix tag in. Jungle Boy forearms Fenix and hits Pentagon with a reverse DDT. Jungle Boy hits Fenix with an inverted scoop powerslam! Jungle Boy follows up with a backflip knee while Stunt hits Pentagon with a suicide dive. Stunt tags in and hits Fenix with a 450 splash. Jungle Boy quickly attacks Fenix for a near fall.

Pentagon quickly catches Jungle Boy with a Canadian Destroyer out of nowhere. Pentagon throws Stunt by his hair and gives him an arm breaker. They hit a double stomp/package piledriver combo. Fenix hits Jungle Boy with a plancha while Pentagon picks up the win.

Private Party will take on The Lucha Bros next week in a Semifinal Match in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament.


PAC & Jon Moxley vs. “Hangman” Adam Page & Kenny Omega

Page and Omega attack them both. Omega and Moxley start it off. Omega chops the chest, but Moxley quickly comes back with a clothesline. Moxley punches away at Omega, but Page quickly boots him back. Pac tags in and hits Page with an enzuigiri. Omega quickly takes Pac down and knocks Moxley off the apron. Pac backs Omega to the corner and tags Moxley in. Moxley stomps Omega down and digs the boot in. Moxley hits a corner clothesline followed by a snapmare for a two count. Moxley stomps the hands and knees him in the face. Omega elbows Moxley back and chops the chest. Moxley quickly comes back with a knee to the midsection. Omega takes him down and tags Page in. Page takes Pac down and elbows Moxley. Page clotheslines Pac on the apron and hits a plancha. Page goes to the top rope and hits Moxley with a diving clothesline for a near fall. Moxley gets out of Dead Eye, so Page boots him to the floor. Page goes to the top rope, but Pac distracts him. Moxley then pushes Page off the top rope, who flips onto the ring apron in a nasty landing.

We come back from the break to see Moxley hit Page with a low clothesline for a two count. Moxley quickly goes for a cloverleaf submission, but Omega breaks it up. Pac quickly knocks Omega out of the ring. Moxley sends Page to the apron, but Page boots him back. Moxley avoids a Buckshot Lariat, but Page soon comes back with one.

Omega tags in, as does Pac. Omega runs wild on him until Pac boots him. Omega lifts him up for a rolling fireman’s carry followed by a second rope moonsault for a near fall. Omega goes for a snap dragon suplex, but Moxley runs in. Omega gives Moxley a snap dragon suplex before giving one to Pac. Omega then hits Moxley with a second snap dragon suplex. Omega then wipes Pac out with a summersault senton. Moxley then floors Omega with a suicide dive. Page finally takes them all out with a moonsault to the floor! An “AEW” chant fires up. Omega clotheslines Pac in the corner, as does Page. Omega hits a buckle bomb on Pac, and Page forearms him. Omega powerbombs Pac, and Page hits a standing shooting star press. Moxley breaks up the pin.

Moxley and Page trade punches before Moxley hits a swinging sidewalk slam. Omega hits Moxley with a V-Trigger. Pac then hits Omega with a slingshot cutter. Page knocks Pac out of the ring and hits a vicious suicide dive. It’s down to Omega and Moxley in the ring. They go face-to-face before trading punches. Omega knees him a few times in the face and hits the ropes, but Moxley turns him inside out with a clothesline. They leave the ring and grab some weapons. Moxley has a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, while Omega has a broom wrapped in barbed wire. The referee gets out of the ring. Moxley strikes Omega. Pac runs in and throws the weapons out of the ring and reminds him that they could be disqualified. Moxley gives him a double middle finger and gives Pac the Death Rider! Moxley leaves the ring.

Pac comes to, and Page hits him with a huge Buckshot Lariat. Omega follows up with a V-Trigger, and Page hits the Dead Eye for the win!

AEW World Championship – Philadelphia Street Fight
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Darby Allin

Allin quickly starts off with a dropkick and some punches. Allin takes Jericho down and punches him. Allin whips Jericho into the ropes, but he holds on. They mistime a clothesline over the top rope. Allin gets him over the top rope and hits a vicious suicide dive. Allin punches away at Jericho and gets him in the ring. Jericho kicks Allin in the ribs and hits a back suplex. Jericho chops the chest a few times before sending him sternum-first into the corner. Jericho quickly follows up with a clothesline to the back of the head. Jericho slaps him in the head, but Allin flips through a back suplex. Allin punches away at him and hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a near fall. Jericho then turns him inside out with a clothesline. Jericho slaps him in the back of the head a few times, but Allin comes back with some punches. Jericho knees him in the midsection and clubs him down. Jericho then throws him through the turnbuckles back-first into the ring post! Jericho taunts the crowd.

We come back from the break to see Jericho with a kendo stick, and he hits Allin with it. Jericho chokes Allin with the kendo stick before sending him into the ropes for a kento stick shot to the midsection. Allin has a cut in the back of his head. Jericho goes to the second rope and jumps, but Allin turns him inside out with a punch. Allin punches away at Jericho before booting him away. Jericho quickly elbows him back, but Allin catches him with a crucifix pin for a two count. Allin hits Jericho with the kendo stick a few times for a one count. Allin springboards off the ropes for another two count. Allin goes for an arm bar, but Jericho fights up. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Allin gets to the ropes. Jericho still locks it in.

Referee Aubrey Edwards gets in Jericho’s face. Allin hits Jericho in the head with the kendo stick and follows up with a top rope cross-body block for a near fall. Jericho quickly floors him with a Codebreaker, but Allin grabs the bottom rope before the count of three. Jericho goes under the ring and grabs a chair. Jericho hits him in the midsection with the chair and smacks it off his back. Jericho wedges the chair into the corner and tries to whip him, but Allin avoids it. Allin reverses into a stunner for a near fall. Jericho slams him off the ropes and applies the Walls of Jericho. The commentators called it the Walls of Jericho earlier, but are now calling it a Liontamer (the old name) or a modified Boston Crab. Allin gets to the bottom rope.

Jericho goes under the ring and grabs some electrical tape. Jericho punches him in the back of the head and tapes his hands behind him. Jericho kicks Allin in the ribs and throws him across the ring twice. Allin’s hands are trapped behind him. Jericho punches Allin down, but Allin avoids an avalanche. Allin somehow hits a springboard moonsault with his hands tied behind his back for a near fall. Allin dropkicks him out of the ring and hits a suicide dive to the floor! Wow! Allin somehow gets to the top rope and hits a corkscrew splash for a near fall!

Jericho manages to stop the momentum with a clothesline. Jericho brings Allin’s skateboard into the ring and powerbombs him on it… but Allin kicks out! Allin avoids a chair shot and dropkicks him down. Allin goes to the top rope, but Jake Hager punches him in the face. Jericho quickly follows up with the Walls of Jericho for the submission!

Winner by Submission and still AEW World Champion: Chris Jericho

The rest of the Inner Circle come out with some “bubbly.” Jericho celebrates with the Inner Circle as the show comes to an end.
