Various: Rusev & Lana Angle Doing Well on YouTube, Ratings Likely to Be Hurt By World Series Tonight

Though the angle has gotten a lot of hate from some fans, the Rusev & Lana “Divorce Court” segment on Raw has by far the most views on YouTube of any WWE Raw or SmackDown video in the past week.

The video currently has 5.1 million views since Monday night. Second place is the Seth Rollins vs. Rowan match at 1.5 million. Everything else from Raw is mostly well below 1 million views.

The angle, which was promoted throughout Raw on Monday, didn’t really translate into more TV viewers though. The first hour of Raw drew 2.3 million viewers, but the third hour (which ended with the Rusev/Lana angle) dropped to 1.9 million. A poor third hour has been generally how things go for Raw, though.

World Series

World Series game 7 between the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros will take place tonight at 8 PM ET on FOX.

It’ll likely hurt the ratings for AEW and NXT, at least a little. Last week’s shows, which were going against game 2 of the World Series, remained relatively steady, only slightly down from the previous week.
