Marty Scurll has agreed to work for Ring of Honor at their Final Battle 2019 event on December 13th in Baltimore, Maryland even though his contract expires on November 30th, according to Dave Meltzer.
Scurll agreed to the extra date as part of the talks between the two sides for a potential new contract. Scurll reportedly told ROH officials that he would be willing to work that date even if he decided to not sign a new contract with the company in the end.
Meltzer also reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Scurll owns the rights to the name “Villain Club” and can use the term outside of ROH. It was also reported that the current belief by those close to Scurll is that he will either go to AEW or NJPW once his ROH contract expires.
