These changes were made to the NXT TakeOver: WarGames card tonight:
– Finn Balor vs. Matt Riddle – Balor was originally set to face Johnny Gargano, but Gargano won’t be able to wrestle due to an injury. Riddle will take his place against Balor.
– Men’s WarGames Match – Since Riddle will be facing Balor, he will no longer be in the WarGames match and will be replaced by Dominik Dijakovic. It’ll now be The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and TBA. Also, next week on NXT, there will be a ladder match between Adam Cole and Dominik Dijakovic to determine which team will have a WarGames advantage.
– Women’s WarGames Match – NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray will be the fourth member of the heel team in the women’s WarGames match. She appeared on tonight’s episode to help Io Shirai defeat Mia Yim and win the WarGames advantage for the heel team. It’ll be Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox and Mia Yim vs. Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair and Kay Lee Ray.
NXT TakeOver: WarGames will take place on November 23, 2019 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL.
