Angel Garza Wins Cruiserweight Title, Proposes to Girlfriend in the Ring

Angel Garza defeated Lio Rush to win the NXT Cruiserweight Championship tonight on NXT, then proposed to his girlfriend Zaide Lozano in the ring following the match.

Garza forced Rush to tap in a reverse full nelson submission in a hot opening match on tonight’s episode.

After the match, Garza got on the mic and said, “I want to tell you something. There are four things that are my entire life. The first one is wrestling. The second one is all the support of the WWE and NXT Universe. The third one is my family. And the fourth one is my girlfriend. And I want all of NXT to be part of this.”

He then brought in his girlfriend Zaide, a broadcaster for Televisa Monterrey in Mexico, got on his knee and proposed to her in Spanish, and she said yes as the NXT crowd chanted “si, si, si.”
