Austin Gunn, the 25-year-old son of AEW wrestler and coach Billy Gunn, has officially signed with AEW.
Cody Rhodes made the announcement last night after a match taped for AEW Dark, with Austin and Billy Gunn teaming up to defeat Shawn Spears & The Librarian Peter Avalon.
Austin also wrestled in a dark match for AEW last week, which didn’t air, teaming with Billy Gunn to defeat Shawn Spears & Preston Vance.
He also wrestled in the battle royal at All In in 2018 and in Ring of Honor’s Top Prospect Tournament this past summer.
