Brazilian NXT wrestler Taynara Conti left WWE last month after a “disagreement,” according to Fightful Select (subscription required) and Dave Meltzer.
Fightful speculated that the disagreement is money-related. They also noted that her NXT locker has been cleared out.
Brazilian wrestling website WrestleBR also said yesterday that Conti is looking for a better contract and refused to wrestle in the women’s battle royal on NXT on January 15 and was done after that. They also say that she is still under contract with WWE, so a return to the company is possible.
Conti last wrestled at an NXT house show in Buffalo on January 12.
