WWE: Becky Lynch on Wanting to Be Highest Paid Star, MVP Update, Updated SD Ratings

Becky Lynch Comments on Wanting to be Highest Paid Person in WWE

TVInsider held a recent interview with Becky Lynch and one of the topics discussed included her thoughts on why she feels she should be the highest paid person in WWE.

“I should be making more in that whole company, everybody — Vince McMahon included. I want to change the game. I want to prove that it doesn’t matter your gender, your race, your background, if you are doing the job and keeping people invested, if you are keeping people interested, then you deserve to be paid at a level higher than anybody else.

Or as high as anybody else. As high as the best of them. I look around the arenas and the majority of the people are in my shirts. The majority of people hold signs for me, so pay me as such and that will be the way it will be.”

MVP Status Update

MVP made his return to WWE during last month’s Royal Rumble event in Houston, Texas and wrestled the following night on RAW, stating afterwards that he had wrestled his final match in his WWE in-ring career.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the reason for MVP’s return was due to recent talks within the company of the idea of hiring him as a new backstage producer. Johnson reported that those talks resumed again backstage during last night’s episode of RAW.
