Lance Archer
Last week, AEW advertised that the newly-signed Lance Archer would be making his debut on last night’s Dynamite, but Archer was nowhere to be seen.
This was a creative change that happened at some point in the past week, according to Dave Meltzer.
Jake “The Snake” Roberts appeared last night and told Cody that he has a mystery client looking to challenge Cody. It’s possible that Archer could be that “client” and AEW decided to bring in Jake the Snake as a way to introduce him instead, but that’s just speculation.
Luke Harper
Luke Harper’s WWE non-compete clause is expected to expire some time around March 8. He was released from his WWE contract on December 8.
He’s expected to sign with AEW and may debut on the March 18 Dynamite, which will be in his hometown of Rochester, NY.
It’s also possible that Harper could be Jake the Snake’s client… or maybe even “The Exalted One.”
