Miz TV: The Miz and John Morrison with Otis

In the WWE Performance Center, it’s Miz TV as The Miz and John Morrison are in the ring. Miz welcomes everyone to Miz TV and as he’s talking, out comes Otis with the Money in the Bank briefcase. He does a cartwheel outside of the ring and gets into the ring as Miz asks him to sit down.

Otis sits on the chair and cracks the seat as he stands back up. Miz congratulates him on winning the Money in the Bank contract. Otis says it is the biggest win of his career but in his life, his biggest win is winning the heart of his peach, Mandy Rose. Morrison asks how he got Mandy and if she feels sorry for him. Otis says he in his briefcase, he has a contract and some food in case he gets hungry later.

Miz says Otis can’t even climb a ladder as Miz wants to talk about his personal life. We see a picture of a baby Otis where Otis says he weighed 12 lbs as Miz asks Morrison if he could imagine Otis and Mandy having a kid. Morrison asks Otis if he’s pregnant because he looks like he is and he should do what Becky did and forfeit.l Otis says his mother won’t allow it as she has been an Otis fan since day one.

We see a picture of Otis with his mother as Otis says he wasn’t the best in school but he played sports. The next picture is a young Otis flexing. Miz says he can’t take Otis seriously because he is using the briefcase as a lunch box. Miz insults Otis and says he can’t believe he is the Money in the Bank and he got the contract. Otis says he feels like there is a problem as Miz says there is. He says Otis didn’t even have to climb the ladder, he got the briefcase. Miz challenges him to a tag team match tonight. Otis says Tucker can;’t make it as Miz asks him to pick a partner and to pick anyone who wants to tag with a human version of Shrek.

Miz tells him he has until the end of the show to find someone.

Elias vs. King Corbin

The bell rings and we are under way. Both men exchange right hands as Corbin drops Elias down and goes for a half crab but Elias kicks him away. Elias gets up and a spinning elbow by Corbin. He goes for the cover but Elias kicks out. Corbin with a submission hold as Elias gets out of it and Elias with a mule kick as he clotheslines Corbin to the outside of the ring.

Elias gets on the top rope and flies off onto Corbin and both men are down in front of the announce table. Elias the first one to his feet as he throws Corbin back into the ring. Corbin rolls back out and a right hand by Corbin. He slams Elias into the barricade and back into the ring. Corbin grabs a guitar and mocks Elias as Elias throws Corbin into the barricade. Elias throws Corbin into the steel steps and into the ring post.

Back from commercial, Elias with an arm bar as he works on Corbin’s left arm. He slams him into the corner and grabs Corbin’s arm as he does The Undertaker’s Old School but Corbin trips up Elias in between the ropes and Elias falls to the outside. Corbin beating up on Elias on the announce table as he throws Elias back into the ring. He goes for the cover but Elias kicks out. Corbin gets Elias in the corner and a right hand by Corbin followed by a kick to the stomach.

Corbin goes for a right hand but it’s blocked by Elias as Elias tries to fight back but Corbin slides out of the ring, gets back in and a clothesline onto Elias. He goes for the cover but Elias kicks out. Corbin with another clothesline and another. Corbin goes for another one but Elias reverses it into a swinging neck breaker. Both men back on their feet, Elias with several right hands. He sends Corbin to the ropes and a clothesline takes Corbin down.

Elias slams Corbin face first into the mat. He goes for the cover but Corbin kicks out. A jumping knee to the face by Elias onto Corbin. Elias climbs the top rope and jumps as Corbin moves out of the way. Corbin with a right hand, he goes for a clothesline, Elias ducks and Corbin with a spine buster. He goes for the cover but Elias kicks out. Corbin places Elias on the top rope and Elias with right hands. Elias slides under as Corbin is standing on the second rope. Elias gets Corbin on his shoulders, Corbin escapes and a huge choke slam on Elias. He goes for the cover and once more Elias kicks out.

Corbin stands on top of Elias and delivers right hands. Corbin goes to the outside of the ring and grabs the guitar. He breaks the guitar across the ring post and gets in the ring. Elias with a flying knee to the face. He gets Corbin up in a small package and gets the pin.

Winner: Elias


Backstage: Otis, Sheamus

Otis is walking backstage with the briefcase as he sees Sheamus. He asks Sheamus to be his partner tonight as Sheamus tells him not a chance and walks away.


Backstage: Otis, Mandy Rose

Otis is backstage and in comes Mandy Rose. She asks why he doesn’t ask the Universal champion Braun Strowman. He tells her she’s a genius and walks away. He comes back, gives her a kiss on the cheek and says his patented Oh Yeah and walks away.


Segment: Hacker

The man in the black hoodie is back. He says he is everywhere. He sees everyone, he hears everything. He says no one is safe as we clips of WWE superstars.


Backstage: Otis, Braun Strowman

Otis is with Strowman as they congratulate each other on their wins. Otis says he’s looking for a tag partner vs. Miz and Morrison and if it would be him. Strowman asks if he’s looking to be a tag partner or a reason to cash in the contract. Strowman says he knows how it’s played and he respects Otis. He tells him he will think about it and walks away.


Naomi vs. Dana Brooke

The bell rings and we are under way. Both women lock up and Naomi goes for a roll-up as Dana kicks out. A drop kick by Naomi followed by a flying forearm. She goes for a bull dog but Dana pushes her into the corner. Brooke knocks Naomi down. She throws Naomi into the corner and goes for a flying elbow but Naomi with a kick to the back. Naomi climbs the top rope and a cross body as she goes for the cover but Brooke kicks out.

Naomi goes jumps towards Brooke as Brooke grabs her by the legs and gets her in the cover for a pin.

Winner: Dana Brooke


In-Ring: Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Sasha Banks

Charlotte gets in the ring and says here she is on Friday Night SmackDown being the hardest working woman in the industry. Flair, in a pretentious tone, asks how she can work all three brands. Well, the numbers are down and people want more Charlotte Flair. And of course Fox used the brand to brand invitation to have her. She is 5’10, blonde, a superior athlete and her last name is Flair. Not to mention that she won 5 of her 12 title reigns on SmackDown.

She says she is surprised there isn’t a giant picture of herself to inspire all the competitors who step through these ropes. The greatest, the queen, Charlotte Flair. Out comes WWE SmackDown women’s champion Bayley along with Sasha Banks.

Both women get in the ring. Bayley says it would be nice to say it’s nice to see her but she is a role model and she won’t lie. And obviously Fox executives have a thing for blondes or because she is Flair’s daughter. Both women mockingly Woo. Flair asks if they are done. Bayley says she has more to say because she was hearing her blab on and she asks when the lat time it was that she saw Flair. Banks says the lat time we saw Flair, she had defeated her to become a two time women’s champion.

Flair says fact check, the first time she beat her, she was unconscious. And the second time, took her a new makeover and bad hair cut to get it done. Bayley says it takes what it takes to become champion. She became the first and only women’s grand slam champion in WWE. Bayley tells Charlotte to go back to NXT or go back to Raw and she can beat Liv Morgan over and over again because this is SmackDown and this is their show. The leaders, the role models and she is the greatest, most dominant women’s champion in history. She has beaten everyone and that includes her.

Bayley thanks Flair for coming but she should get the hell out of their ring. Flair tells Bayley that some things never change. Sasha made her relevant when she was the NXT women’s champion and now she is the only reason she is the SmackDown women’s champion. Flair looks at Sasha and says they main evented the first Raw together. They main event the first PPV’s. Sasha is a 6 time champ, a future Hall of Famer, the boss, the blueprint, the standard. And she is content standing in Bayley’s corner? That she is content being an after thought?

As she is talking, Bayley tells her to shut up. Flair asks someone in the truck to cut Bayley’s mic so that Banks can talk. As Sasha is about to talk, Bayley says enough talk, she wants to fight. She says champion vs. champion as Flair laughs. Flair says she is sure Fox would like to have her on her show again and challenge accepted. But she has one question. The question is for Sasha and for Bayley to move out of the way. She asks Sasha to think long and hard about this and she asks Sasha if she is her own women or if she is just going to be Bayley’s lackey? And happy being an after thought. She woo’s as Banks does not look happy.


Backstage: Braun Strowman

Strowman is warming up and is asked if he has decided on tonight. Strowman says he is still chewing on it and this is how he thinks.


Backstage: The Forgotten Sons

The Forgotten Sons are backstage. They talk about when you were young, you believed in a lot of things that turned out to be bullshit. They fought for their countries but they weren’t welcomed home like heroes. They were told they were mentally unstable and they will welcome everyone with closed fists.


Backstage: The Miz, John Morrison

Renee Young is backstage with Miz and Morrison. She asks them about Otis trying to get Strowman as his partner. Morrison says they call him Braun and not brains but not even Strowman is dumb enough to get himself in the ring for Otis to be able to cash in. Miz says it won’t happen because Strowman knows he can’t hang with them. Miz and Morrison start their Miz and Morrison chant.


Intercontinental Championship Tournament
Daniel Bryan vs. Drew Gulak

The bell rings and we are under way. Both men shake hands and exchange reversals to start the match. Several grapples by both men as Bryan tries to go for the Yes Lock but Gulak reaches the ropes. Both men back up as Bryan rolls Gulak to the ground and both men back up. Gulak with a take down of his own and gets the Drew Lock in but Bryan reaches the ropes. Both men back up and an arm bar by Bryan as but Gulak with his arms tied, lands a suplex.

Bryan not letting go of the arms as he slams Gulak and gets an arm bar in the middle of the ring but Gulak reaches the ropes. Gulak throws Bryan over the top rope and onto the floor.

Back from commercial, Gulak with a belly to back suplex. He goes for the cover but Bryan kicks out. Gulak with a full Nelson in the middle of the ring as he turns it into a head lock. Bryan slams Gulak on his knee but Gulak doesn’t let go of the lock. Bryan with another skin breaker followed by a dragon screw. Bryan with another dragon screw and a third one as he gets an ankle lock. Gulak reaches the ropes. Bryan with a German suplex but Gulak kicks out and Bryan not letting go of the hold. Gulak gets out of it and goes for the roll up but Bryan kicks out. Gulak lifts Bryan up and slams him on his neck with a modified Michinoku driver.

Both men slow to get up and a running release German suplex by Bryan takes Gulak down. Bryan goes for the running knee, Gulak ducks, goes for the cover but Bryan kicks out. Bryan tries to go for the bad leg but Gulak slams Bryan. He goes for the cover but Bryan kicks out and reverses it into a cover of his own. Gulak kicks out. Gulak with the Gulak on Bryan but Bryan tries to roll through and goes for the Yes Lock. Gulak goes for the cover but Bryan’s shoulder was up. Bryan goes for the dragon screw, Gulak blocks it. Bryan grabs Gulak’s leg and twists it. He gets the heel hook on Gulak as Gulak taps out.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Renee Young asks Bryan what it would mean to win the title. Bryan says almost 5 years ago to the day, he had to forfeit his Intercontinental title and retire. He always wanted to make the Intercontinental title the title on SmackDown. He says he wants that championship and he wants it to represent the absolute greatest wrestler in WWE. And he thinks that is him. Renee congratulates him. Both Bryan and Gulak shake hands in the ring.


Backstage: Sonya Deville

Sonya tells Mandy everything she said she would do has become a reality. And next week, Dolph and herself will humiliate Mandy and Otis in their mixed tag match. And it makes her think what is Mandy good at? Not at wrestling, being a best friend. The only thing she is good at is being blonde and pretty. And at the end, it will leave her in a trailer, barefoot with kids running around. Listening to Otis and if that’s the life she wants to live, by all means. But she will never have the skill, talent, the mind that she has. She has a lot of plans for Mandy still. She said she will ruin her life and she is just getting started. She wants Mandy to go home, get it together and show her why she deserves to be in the same ring as her. And her and Ziggler will see her in the ring next week.


The Miz & John Morrison vs. Otis & Braun Strowman

Morrison and The Miz mock Otis about how he couldn’t find a tag team partner and Braun Strowman’s music hits and out comes WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman.

The bell rings and we are under way. Otis starts the match with Morrison as Morrison gets a head lock on Otis but Otis pushes him away. Otis pushes Morrison in the corner but Morrison gets out right away. Morrison with two kicks onto Otis but Otis begins to jiggle and dance. Morrison runs to the ropes and a shoulder tackle takes Morrison out. He knocks Miz off the ring apron and a big slam takes Morrison down. He tags Braun Strowman into the match. Otis tells Braun to get in a corner and to do the caterpillar. Both men with the caterpillar onto Morrison.

Back from commercial, Otis is in the ring with The Miz and The Miz has a head lock on Otis in the middle of the ring. Otis gets out of it but Miz with a kick gets Otis in the corner. Miz with the kicks to Otis. He lands the running flying knee on Otis. Miz climbs the top rope and the double axe handle onto Otis. Miz with the Yes kicks as he goes for the cover but Otis kicks out. Miz with a sleeper hold on Otis but Otis gets to his feet. Miz jumps on the back of Otis but Miz makes the tag. They go for a double suplex but Otis reverses it into a double suplex of his own.

Otis tags Strowman in and a big splash on Miz in the corner. She slams Morrison down and pushes Miz down. He slams Miz into the corner followed by a big splash. He tosses Miz around and Miz rolls to the outside. Strowman chases Morrison as Morrison jumps the barricade and Strowman plows through Miz. He gets Miz in the ring. He runs towards Miz but Miz moves out of the way and Strowman hits the steel post.

Morrison is tagged in and Morrison with kicks and punches onto Strowman. He runs to the ropes but Strowman catches him and a big slam takes him down. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: Braun Strowman and Otis

Both men celebrate in the ring as Mandy’s music hits. Out she comes as she distracts Strowman. Otis puts the briefcase down and looks like he will hit Strowman as Strowman turns around and sees what Otis was trying to do. Otis says he was just kidding and it was just a laugh. Mandy gets in the ring as she and Otis hug and Strowman celebrates.
