Today’s scheduled SmackDown taping at the WWE Performance Center has been postponed because results from WWE’s COVID-19 testing yesterday are still trickling in, according to PWInsider.
The taping, which was for the June 26 SmackDown, will now take place on the day of the show. This Friday’s SmackDown was already taped on Monday.
WWE is still taping the June 22 Raw, along with Main Event and 205 Live today at the Performance Center, then will also tape two episodes of NXT tonight at Full Sail.
Friends and family of wrestlers will be allowed into the tapings again today, according to PWInsider.
No one is being allowed entrance into the building unless their COVID-19 test comes back negative, PWInsider added. Several wrestlers, staffers and executives were on “standby” earlier today waiting for their results to come in.
