Pre-Trial Date Set for Sonya Deville Stalker Case
As noted before, Sonya Deville was the victim of an attempted kidnapping incident at her home in Lutz, Florida this past weekend. The suspect, Phillip A. Thomas, was quickly arrested and confessed to stalking Deville and had planned for months to kidnap her.
PWInsider Mike Johnson reported that a pre-trial hearing for Thomas is currently scheduled to take place on August 20th at 4:30PM EST.
Johnson reported that this hearing will determine if Thomas should be held without bail or be allowed to post bond and be allowed out of incarceration while waiting for his case to go to trial.
WWE Files Several New Trademarks for NXT UK
WWE recently filed several new trademark to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Trademarks for “Joe Coffey“, “Mark Coffey“, “Sam Stoker“, and “Lewis Howley” were all filed on August 10th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.
Updated WWE Friday Night SmackDown Ratings
This past Friday’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew a final viewership of 2,002,000 on FOX, according to Showbuzz Daily. This was the up compared to the initial overnight number of 1,979,000 viewers on the network.
