Matt Riddle Now Just Going By “Riddle”

WWE has changed Matt Riddle’s name to just “Riddle.”

The name has been updated on WWE’s website.

According to Fightful Select, the idea came from Vince McMahon and Riddle liked it. McMahon reportedly loved Riddle’s match against Sheamus on Raw on Monday and brought up the name change. We may also see a more serious presentation for Riddle going forward on Raw.

Matt Riddle, which is his real name, said that he prefers the new shortened ring name.
