Asuka Comments on Undergoing Dental Surgery for Her Mouth Injury

As noted before, Asuka suffered a mouth injury during the February 22nd episode of WWE RAW. Besides a broken tooth, Asuka also suffered a concussion from a stiff kick delivered by Shayna Baszler.

This past Monday’s episode of RAW Talk had Asuka as one of the guests and during her interview, Asuka revealed that she is currently wearing temporary teeth due to her undergoing dental surgery three days ago.

Asuka also revealed that the table shot she took to her face during the RAW Women’s Championship contract signing segment with Rhea Ripley was really painful due to the table being knocked over and hitting her in the mouth.


WWE & NBCU Comments on WWE Network Content Edited on Peacock

As noted before, NBC recently edited and removed several questionable past content from the WWE Network on their Peacock service. This editing is part of NBC’s overall review of thousands of hours of WWE Network content to ensure it meets their standards and practices for their Peacock streaming service.

In a recent report by the New York Times, WWE and NBCU issued an official statement regarding the content edits being made to the WWE Network for Peacock.

NBCUniversal – “[We are] reviewing WWE content to ensure it aligns with Peacock’s standards and practices.”

WWE – “Peacock and WWE are reviewing all past content to ensure it fits our 2021 standards.”


Updated WWE Friday Night SmackDown Ratings

This past Friday’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew a final viewership of 2,191,000 on FOX, according to Showbuzz Daily. This was up compared to the initial overnight number of 2,031,000 viewers on the network.
