Pre-Show
Zoey Stark vs. Toni Storm

After much ado about nothing and hype galore, we get our first match of the event! Toni Storm makes her way out to boos and plays up the heel role well. Zoey Stark comes out next, springboarding over the ropes and into the ring. The ref calls for the bell. Toni stands in the corner as Zoey smirks at her. Finally both women begin circling. The fans are doing dueling “Let’s go Zoey!”/”Let’s go Toni!” chants and Toni has her fair share of admirers. After a bunch of jockeying, Stark slaps a headlock on Storm. Star wrenches the neck. Storm repositions to put Stark in a leg lock, forcing hte break. Both women jockey for control. Storm puts Stark in a headlock, but Stark wiggles out of it and transitions to an arm hold. Stark lets Storm up and whips her into the rope. Storm runs over Stark and runs off perpendicular ropes, attempting to wrap up Stark. Stark counters and sends Storm to the corner, then hits a running elbow in the corner. Stark with a missile dropkick! Stark looks for something high-flying in the opposite corner, but Storm counters, slamming Stark down hard and taking control.

Storm slows Stark’s pace and uses working holds to wear down Stark. Storm with a snap suplex and a pin attempt. Storm moves in and attempts to grab the leg; Stark fights it but Storm forces Stark into a single-legged crab! Stark twists and uses her free foot to shove Storm off, but Storm immediately comes back with a strike. Storm pulls up Stark, and Stark shoves her back into the corner. Storm has been warned twice now by the ref about pulling on Stark’s hair. Storm holds Stark by the chin and delivers a big right. Storm with a European Uppercut. Stark fights back suddenly with a flurry of chops and strikes, but again Storm shuts it down. Storm slams Stark and begins to climb the turnbuckles as commentary team Vic Joseph, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix note that Storm isn’t one for high-flying. Stark is up faster than Storm can climb, and runs over to strike her. Stark pulls Storm up as she herself climbs, and Stark hits the superplex! The ref counts as both women are down. at three they rise and literally alternate strikes for a few moments until Stark unleashes on Storm! Storm with a missed punch; Stark with a combination offense that leaves Storm down on one knee. Storm dodges a running knee and wraps up Stark. Stark with the standing switch. Stark drops Storm and finally hits her running knee, getting a two-count. Stark is frustrated. Storm plants Stark in the middle of the ring and covers for a close two. Storm pulls Stark up into a butterfly underhook position, looking for her finisher, the Storm Zero, but Stark evades! Stark in control briefly with a knee to the gut. Toni Storm gets her second wind and hits a pair of German Suplexes on Stark! Storm looks for the Storm Zero but can’t get Stark up. Stark uses this to her advantage and takes out Storm, rolling her up for the win!

National Anthem

We go into the Capitol Wrestling Centre to hear legendary guitarist Nita Strauss play the National Anthem.


Kushida vs. Pete Dunne

Kushida immediately takes Dunne down and goes for the arm, but Dunne escapes. Dunne grabs the arm and goes for a single leg takedown, but Kushida stays up. Dunne finally gets him down and goes for a heel hook, but Kushida gets out. Kushida ties him up and works on the arm. Dunne twists out and applies a hammerlock. Kushida twists out of the hold and wrenches the arm. Dunne twists and flips out of it and sends him to the ropes. Kushida goes for a handspring back elbow, but Dunne slides out of the ring and grabs the hands. Dunne pulls Kushida out of the ring and hits an X-Plex on the apron. Dunne then stretches Kushida’s arm over the bottom rope.

Dunne ties him up and stomps the injured hand. They exchange chops before Kushida knocks Dunne to the ramp, which is level with the ring and connected. Kushida hits a handspring back elbow before blowing him away with a running knee to the head. Kushida gets him in the ring, but Dunne surprises him with an octopus stretch. Kushida counters out, but Dunne escapes. Dunne snaps the fingers and goes for the Bitter End, but Kushida counters out. Kushida hits a fisherman’s buster for a near fall.

The USA Network goes to commercial, but there’s no commercials on Peacock. Just an awkward silence on the commentary for a moment. Kushida fights up, but Dunne head-butts him down. Dunne continues to attack the injured arm of Kushida for a near fall. The silence hits, which means we’re back on the USA Network.

Kushida avoids a kick from Dunne and hits a falcon arrow into a cross arm breaker. Dunne gets out and stomps the injured arm. Dunne takes him down for a cross arm breaker, but Kushida gets out. They exchange forearms and kicks before both go down. An “NXT” chant fires up. Dunne gets up and goes to the top rope, but Kushida cuts him off. Kushida applies a Hoverboard Lock on the top rope and flips him down to the mat! Kushida cinches in the hold, but Dunne somehow gets to the bottom rope. Kushida pulls the arm away and stretches him more, but Dunne gets a foot on the bottom rope to break it. Kushida goes for the Hoverboard Lock again, but Dunne grabs the rope. Kushida applies it to the other arm, so Dunne drops down and pins him for a two count. Dunne also gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Dunne grabs the hand of Kushida and snaps it. Dunne continues to smash the digits of Kushida before hitting the Bitter End to end this hard fought match.

Gauntlet Eliminator Match
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Leon Ruff vs. Bronson Reed vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Dexter Lumis vs. LA Knight

The winner receives an NXT North American Title match on Night Two.

Leon Ruff makes his entrance, but he is down when the camera finds him. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott saunters out to the stage and continues attacking him. Ruff fights back and kicks him down by jumping off the ramp. Ruff attacks him and gets Scott in the ring.

The USA Network feed comes back to see Ruff hit a missile dropkick on Scott. The match finally begins. Scott quickly knocks Ruff out of the ring and dropkicks him. Scott drags Ruff to the commentary table, but Ruff gets out and jumps off the table with a diving cutter on the floor! Ruff gets him in the ring, but Scott surprises him with a slingshot suplex. Scott pulls Ruff to the second rope. Ruff reverses into a frankensteiner.

Bronson Reed joins the match.

Ruff comes off the top rope with a dive on Reed, but Reed catches him and throws him in the ring. Scott attacks Reed coming in the ring, but Reed wipes him out with a back elbow. Reed avalanches Scott in the corner before lifting him for a delayed vertical suplex. As Reed slams Scott, Ruff comes off the top rope with a cross-body block on Scott. Ruff attacks Reed, but Reed takes him down and crushes him with a leg drop. Reed then stands over Ruff and does a cannonball on his chest!

Scott runs up and grabs Ruff, who is grabbing Reed. Reed gets behind Scott and Ruff and hits a dual German Suplex on them! Yikes!

Cameron Grimes joins the match.

Scott dropkicks Reed from behind. Grimes hits Reed with a moonsault, and Ruff dropkicks Reed. Reed is knocked out of the ring. Grimes gives Scott a stack of money to form a partnership. They embrace. Grimes chokes Ruff with his ring jacket. Scott then attacks Ruff for good measure. Ruff fights back at them and impressively avoids some attacks. Finally, Scott puts him in a fireman’s carry and lawn darts him into the corner! Scott then gets on the apron and kicks Reed in the face to keep him down. Ruff fights back at Grimes, but Grimes clotheslines him down. Scott sends Ruff into the ropes and stiffs him with a clothesline.

Dexter Lumis joins the match.

Grimes and Scott get out of the ring. Lumis hits Reed with a DDT on the ramp, as Scott pins Ruff to eliminate him.

Leon Ruff has been eliminated from the match.

Lumis scares Grimes out of the ring. Lumis hits Scott with a slingshot inverted suplex. Grimes meets the same fate. Lumis punches Scott down twice before clotheslining him in the corner. Lumis then connects with a bulldog and another clothesline. Reed and Lumis go face-to-face in the ring. They exchange punches before Lumis uppercuts him. Lumis goes to lift him, but Reed gets out. Lumis chops the throat and lifts him. Reed slides off, so Lumis throws him out of the ring with the accidental help of Grimes. Lumis takes himself and Grimes out with a clothesline over the top rope.

LA Knight joins the match.

LA Knight comes out talking trash on the microphone and kicks Reed in the face. Reed grabs him by the hair and throws him in the ring. Reed talks trash to Knight, but Knight gets him on the ropes and kicks him. Knight goes for a slingshot, but Reed catches him and hits a Samoan Drop. Grimes comes off the top rope, but Reed hits a Bionic Elbow to take him out. Reed whips Grimes to the corner. The force sends Grimes over to the ramp. Scott is sent sternum-first into the corner by Reed. Reed takes Knight down after he tried to blindside him. Reed whips Knight hard to the corner, but Knight soon comes back with a dropkick. Knight takes Grimes down with a slam before leaping to the top rope to hit Scott with a superplex. Lumis gets in the ring and scares Knight. Grimes tries to blindside Lumis, but Lumis takes him down and applies the Silence. Knight quickly hits a jackknife pin on Lumis for the elimination.

Dexter Lumis has been eliminated from the match.

Grimes quickly slams Knight down. Reed hits a senton splash on Knight for the elimination!

LA Knight has been eliminated from the match.

Lumis pulls Knight out of the ring and applies the Silence to put him to sleep. It’s down to Grimes, Scott, and Reed. They exchange blows and kicks. Scott hits a flatliner on Grimes, and Reed topples over on top of them.

All three men are down. Grimes and Scott get to their feet and double-team Reed. Reed quickly fights back at them and hits the ropes, but they hit a double superkick. Reed clotheslines Scott, but Grimes catches him with a Collision Course! Wow! Scott turns on Grimes. Grimes fights back, but Scott rolls him up with a handful of tights to eliminate him!

Cameron Grimes has been eliminated from the match.

Scott takes it to Reed, but Reed avalanches him down. Reed goes to the top rope, but Scott hits him with a dropkick. Scott then hits Reed with a wild slam off the top rope onto the apron! Reed clutches his back in pain at ringside.

Scott gets Reed in the ring and hits a 450 splash for a near fall. Scott talks some trash and hits a House Call. Reed doesn’t go down. Scott hits a second House Call, and Reed is down now. Scott pulls him up to his knees and talks some more trash. Scott goes for a third House Call, but Reed grabs him by the throat. Scott fights out and hits a third House Call for a near fall. Scott grabs the arm and tries to stretch him, but Reed fights out. Reed hits a vicious powerbomb before hitting a death drop driver! Reed follows up with a Tsunami for the win!

Bronson Reed will face Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship on Night Two of NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver.


NXT United Kingdom Championship
WALTER (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa

The bell rings, and the crowd is really buzzing for this match. They lock up, and Walter powers Ciampa to the corner. Ciampa avoids a big chop and wags a finger at him. Ciampa wrenches the arm of Walter and applies a hammerlock. Walter twists out, so Ciampa applies a front facelock. Walter gets out, but Ciampa stuns him with a jab. Walter powers Ciampa to the corner, so Ciampa chops him and viciously stomps him down in the corner. Ciampa talks some trash and hits the ropes, but Walter floors him with a vicious chop to the chest. Walter puts Ciampa on the top rope and chops him. Walter then puts a foot on Ciampa’s throat and stomps him off the top rope to the floor.

Walter follows Ciampa out of the ring. Ciampa hits a back elbow, but Walter quickly powers him onto the commentary table. Walter goes for a chop, but he breaks the desk when Ciampa moves. Ciampa fights back at Walter, but hits a back suplex on the apron. Walter is holding his hand in pain. Walter puts Ciampa in the corner and viciously forearms him down. Walter goes for a chop, but Ciampa gets an elbow up. Ciampa punches and chops Walter before going for a slam, but Ciampa cannot lift him. Ciampa twists the arm and kicks away at the hand. Ciampa goes for a German Suplex, but Walter gets out of it. Walter then viciously big boots him down. Walter is still holding his right hand in pain.

Walter grabs Ciampa for a Boston Crab, but has to transition to a single leg when he can’t grip with his injured right hand. Walter goes for an STF, but Ciampa fights it. Walter then knocks Ciampa down. Walter chokes Ciampa with his boot in the corner. Walter suplexes Ciampa back into the ring and peppers him with kicks. Ciampa goes to fight back, but Walter crushes him with a knee. Walter continues to attack, but Ciampa counters into a short-arm clothesline. Walter stays on his feet. Ciampa hits three more clotheslines, but Walter stays standing. Ciampa hits the ropes to try to take him down, but that doesn’t work. Ciampa continues to try to clothesline him down, but Walter stays up. Ciampa tries to clothesline him over the top rope, but Ciampa doesn’t go down. Ciampa hits clothesline after clothesline, stunning Walter, but not taking him down. Ciampa hits five clotheslines against the ropes, but Walter doesn’t go over. Walter quickly chops him, but Ciampa fights back. Ciampa hits an air raid siren for a near fall. Ciampa continues to attack Walter and goes for a Fairy Tale Ending, but Walter gets out. Ciampa fights back and hits Walter with the Fairy Tale Ending for a near fall!

Ciampa continues to attack, but Walter applies a sleeper hold. Ciampa gets to the ropes, so Walter smacks the hand down and hits a wild German Suplex. Walter then CRUSHES him with a clothesline for a near fall! Walter grabs Ciampa, but Ciampa bites the hand. Walter fights back, but Ciampa counters a clothesline into a cross-arm breaker using the injured hand! Walter gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ciampa stomps and punches away at Walter, who is in the fetal position. Walter goes to the apron and jumps off pulling on Ciampa’s arm. Walter viciously clubs the chest, but Ciampa goes back to the hand. Walter head-butts him down and goes to the top rope. Ciampa cuts him off and hits an air raid siren off the second rope for a near fall! Wow!

After taking a few moments to recover, Ciampa starts blasting Walter with chops. Walter uses his left hand to chop him, but it doesn’t have the same effect. Walter tries to take him down, but Ciampa bridges up. Walter attacks the surgically repaired neck of Ciampa before hitting two powerbombs… but Ciampa kicks out!

Walter hits a half-and-half suplex before hitting a desperation chop with his injured hand for the win!

Winner by Pinfall and still NXT United Kingdom Champion: WALTER

Bronson Reed is backstage with McKenzie Mitchell. Johnny Gargano comes up and says this is the biggest match of Reed’s life. Gargano tells him to enjoy tonight because tomorrow is a different story.


NXT Tag Team Championship
MSK vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Legado Del Fantasma

Wilde, Lee, and Gibson start the match. Wilde takes Lee down and tags Mendoza in. Legado del Fantasma take Lee down and hits Gibson with a double-team. They double dropkick Lee and stand tall in the ring. Mendoza covers Lee, but Gibson kicks him in the face. Gibson attacks Lee’s recently healed hand. Nash Carter tags in and hits Gibson with a bronco buster. Mendoza attacks Carter from behind and grabs Gibson. James Drake tags in. GYV run wild on their opponents and pose in the ring. Carter hits Gibson with a springboard cross-body block. Drake quickly takes Carter down for a two count. Carter attacks Carter and beats him down in the corner. Drake hits a snapmare on Carter and stretches him for a two count. Drake applies a chin lock. Carter fights up and tags Lee. Lee runs wild, but Legado del Fantasma knocks them all out of the ring. Mendoza and Wilde hit stereo dives out of the ring onto the other competitors.

Carter is put in a tree of woe. Legado del Fantasma climb opposite turnbuckles and hit dropkicks across the ring on Carter. Gibson breaks it up. Legado del Fantasma double-team Gibson and throw him out of the ring. Wilde continues to attack Carter and knees him in the back a few times for two counts.

The USA Network feed soon comes back. Carter makes a tag to Lee. Lee kicks away at Mendoza and Drake. Lee hits Drake with a snapmare and dropkick before hitting Gibson with a suicide dive. Lee then wipes out Legado del Fantasma with a somersault plancha. Lee then hits a wild handspring kick to Drake. Carter tags in, and MSK hits a pushing standing moonsault for a near fall. Lee tags back in, but Gibson pulls him onto his shoulders into the electric chair. Carter cuts Drake off, and Lee takes Gibson down. Mendoza runs in and hits Carter with a twisting suplex. Lee hits a two-for-one on Legado del Fantasma. Gibson pulls Lee’s recently healed hand into the turnbuckle. Drake dropkicks the turnbuckle and crushes Lee’s hand. Gibson applies Shankly Gates, but Carter stops Lee from tapping out. Legado del Fantasma runs in and wipes them out. Mendoza and Wilde hit Lee with a double-team kick/leg sweep… but Lee kicks out! Mendoza and Wilde are stunned.

GYV get Wilde up and hit a Doomsday Device on the floor! MSK then hits a crazy torture rack slam on Mendoza on the floor! MSK and GYV get in the ring. They start brawling before Carter hits a double cutter. Lee tags in. MSK hits a double-team blockbuster slam on Gibson for the win!

Winners by Pinfall and new NXT Tag Team Champions: MSK

NXT General Manager William Regal gets in the ring and presents MSK with the NXT Tag Team Championship.


In the Crowd: Stephanie McMahon, Sarray

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon is in the crowd with Sarray, NXT’s newest signing.


NXT Women’s Championship
Io Shirai (c) vs. Raquel González

The bell rings, and González immediately powers her to the corner. González throws her away and big boots Shirai down. Shirai tries to fight back, but González knocks her back. Shirai goes for a hurricanrana, but González uses her power to hold her up. Shirai kicks her in the head and twists to the apron to avoid her. Shirai shoulders González back and hits a springboard hurricanrana. Shirai hits a running shoulder block in the corner and chops the chest. Shirai stomps her down and goes for a slingshot double knee, but González catches her. Shirai quickly knocks González out of the ring and hits a wild suicide dive.

Dakota Kai grabs Shirai as she climbs the rope. The referee catches her. Rather than end the match, he ejects Kai from ringside. Shirai knocks González back with a heel kick. Shirai does an Asai Moonsault. It’s clear González was supposed to catch her, but she went down. Shirai smartly gets on the apron, so González grabs her and drives her shoulder into the ring post. González gets Shirai in the ring and hits a wild slam for a near fall.

Shirai knocks González onto the ropes, but González cuts her off. González hits an alley-oop into the top rope for a near fall. González punches away at Shirai and goes for a suplex. Shirai fights it and lands on her feet. González blocks a chop and takes her down. González applies a stretch, but Shirai gets out and knocks her back. Shirai goes for a tiger feint kick, but González moves. Shirai hits González with a hip toss and finally connects with a tiger feint kick. Shirai follows up with code red for a near fall. Shirai goes to the top rope, but González counters into a one-armed powerbomb attempt. Shirai gets out and locks González in a crossface. Shirai cinches it in, but González claws to the bottom rope.

González goes to the ramp, so Shirai goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault block. Shirai backs up and runs González over with double knees. Shirai disappears for a moment. All of a sudden, she emerges at the top of the skull being used as a set decoration! Shirai wipes out González with a cross-body block onto the ramp!

Shirai drags González back into the ring and hits an Over the Moonsault… but González kicks out! She’s the first person to kick out of Shirai’s moonsault! González rolls out of the ring, so Shirai follows. González quickly slams her down twice on the floor. González gets her in the ring and talks some trash. Shirai pushes her back, so González runs her over with a vicious clothesline. González hits a nasty one-armed powerbomb for the win!
