SummerSlam will officially take place on Saturday, August 21, WWE announced today, as was rumored yesterday.
WWE did not announce a city or venue for the show yet, however. The show has been rumored for the Las Vegas area – possibly at Allegiant Stadium – but WWE has also reportedly been considering other possible football stadiums around the US.
A big boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence Jr. is scheduled for the same day, August 21 in Las Vegas. The venue for that hasn’t been officially announced yet either.
