WWE reportedly is currently working on plans for The Rock to make a potential appearance at this year’s Survivor Series event, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Newsletter that WWE officials currently have major plans for this year’s Survivor Series event with the biggest involving them being hopeful that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be able to make an appearance as the event’s host. Meltzer reported that while the plans are not locked in at the moment, the idea would be to use The Rock’s appearance to potentially kickstart a feud between him and Roman Reigns for next year’s WrestleMania 38 event.
In regards to the event’s potential location, Mat Men Wrestling’s Andrew Zarian reported that WWE officials are currently planning for this year’s Survivor Series event to take place in Brooklyn, New York.
