Finn Balor Returns on SmackDown

Finn Balor returned to the main roster on tonight’s SmackDown.

During a Sami Zayn in-ring promo where he talked about the conspiracy against him, Balor’s music suddenly hit and he came out to a big pop from the live WWE crowd.

Zayn said, “Welcome back,” then tried to punch him, but Balor ducked and hit Zayn with a sling blade, then a drop kick and finally a Coup de Grace, then he posed in the ring as his theme hit.

Balor hasn’t been on the main roster since losing to Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam in August 2019. He moved to NXT in October 2019 and his last match there was a loss to Karrion Kross on the May 25 NXT episode.
