Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega has been dealing with a shoulder injury for some time.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Omega isn’t able to do heavy lifting with his shoulders.
“He can’t lift heavy weights with [his shoulders],” Meltzer said. “The last time we were talking, he said he was able to lift the bar, so it’s 45 pounds. [But] he’s told me, ‘I can work a match without my shoulders.'”
Eddie Kingston & Malakai Black
Eddie Kingston and Malakai Black missed a “Big Event” convention in NYC on Sunday due to injuries, the convention said.
There are currently no details available about Malakai Black’s injury or how much time, if any, he may miss.
For Eddie Kingston, the convention said that he was dealing with a shoulder injury:
“Eddie Kingston contacted us late last night. Due to an injury to his shoulder in his match with CM Punk last night at the AEW PPV, he will be unable to appear at Big Event NY Convention today. He is having his shoulder checked out and having a series of medical tests this morning.”
Dave Meltzer reported that Kingston’s injury did not happen in his match against CM Punk at Full Gear and instead was said to be from an accumulation of damage to his shoulder over time. Kingston was reportedly getting a series of medical tests done on Sunday morning.
