Jeff Hardy was “sent home from the road” for an unspecified reason, according to a report by PWInsider.
During a house show match on Saturday night in Edinburg, Texas, Hardy teamed with Drew McIntyre & Xavier Woods to take on Roman Reigns & The Usos. PWInsider says that Hardy “became more sluggish as the match continued” and eventually made a hot tag to McIntyre, then disappeared into the crowd, followed by security, and didn’t return.
Hardy was scheduled to appear at a house show again on Sunday in Corpus Christi, TX to wrestle the same match, but since he was “sent home,” was not at the show and was replaced by Rey Mysterio.
The house show match from Saturday can be seen in the video below. Hardy tags McIntyre then leaves into the crowd at around the 10:45 mark.
