Shane Strickland, AKA Isaiah “Swerve” Scott in WWE, has interest from multiple companies, including AEW and NJPW USA.
Fightful Select says that several promoters have been inquiring about his status and what he wants out of a potential deal with their companies. They also say that at least one major company has “plans in order already” if he signs with them.
AEW reportedly asked about Swerve’s status very early after his release to gauge when he’d be available and NJPW USA made a “very firm overture” about potentially using him in the future. MLW is also expected to make an effort to sign him, Fightful says.
Swerve was released by WWE on November 18, so assuming he has a 90 day non-compete, he would be officially free to sign anywhere in about a week or so.
