WWE told employees on Saturday that “multiple” WrestleMania commercials will air during the Super Bowl Sunday night, according to a report by PWInsider.
This year’s Super Bowl airs on NBC, which owns the Peacock streaming service, so it’s unclear if the commercials will specifically be for WrestleMania or for Peacock in general, with references to WrestleMania in them among other Peacock programming.
WWE’s last dedicated Super Bowl commercial aired in 1999.
The Super Bowl will kick off tonight on NBC at 6:30 PM ET.
