MLW has fired LA Park and his two sons, El Hijo de LA Park and LA Park Jr.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was an incident at the March 31 MLW taping where the Park family was supposed to do a post-match run-in on Jacob Fatu, which also involved Alexander Hammerstone. The Parks reportedly got “very rough” with Fatu and Hammerstone and went off script and “ruined the post-match angle.” The Observer says they threw real punches and hard chair shots, which left Fatu and Hammerstone busted open and needing medical attention.
After the incident backstage, Hammerstone reportedly was yelling at LA Park to fight him, but Park “acted as if he didn’t understand English.”
MLW head Court Bauer fired the family and they were sent home on April 1.
The Observer says that there was also heat on LA Park for “something in the past that wasn’t made clear” and Park has a reputation for being difficult to deal with.
LA Park and Hijo de LA Park wrestled in MLW since 2018, while LA Park Jr first wrestled there in 2019.
