WWE reportedly is currently interested in signing FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler back to the company once their AEW contracts expire, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that WWE officials recently held internal talks regarding the idea of bringing back FTR once their AEW contracts expire.
It was also originally reported that FTR’s contracts are currently set to expire this summer but AEW has the option to extend their contracts by one year. The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that this portion of Fightful’s report is incorrect based on his sources, who stated that FTR still has more than a year left on their contracts not including the option year.
Prior to signing with AEW, Harwood worked in WWE from 2012 to April 2020 under the ring name of Scott Dawson while Wheeler worked in WWE from 2014 to April 2020 under the ring name of Dash Wilder.
